Why we started
Auhiro Motors.

We're on a mission to transform daily mobility in Coimbatore and Pollachi. Electric vehicles aren't just about saving the planet — they're about saving money, time, and stress for everyday riders.

Western Tamil Nadu runs on two wheels. Delivery riders, students, farmers moving produce to the santhe, shopkeepers opening before dawn — the two-wheeler is not a vehicle here, it's a livelihood. We saw petrol costs silently eating into people's income — ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 a month disappearing at the fuel station. The EV options available were either overpriced lifestyle scooters that couldn't carry a load, or cheap imports that broke down in six months.

Every Motovolt model is purpose-built for real Indian use cases: high payload for traders, no-licence options for students, and maximum range for long commutes. Auhiro Motors was built to close that gap. We partnered with Motovolt Mobility — India's most utility-focused EV brand — and opened in Coimbatore in September 2025. Three months later, Pollachi.

Early 2025
The idea takes shape
After watching delivery partners spend more on petrol than they earned, the founding team began researching utility-first EVs. Motovolt's product lineup — built for payload, not lifestyle — was the answer.

Partnership with Motovolt
Auhiro Motors signs as an authorised Motovolt dealer for western Tamil Nadu. Months of product training, showroom setup, and staff preparation begin at Siddhapudur, Coimbatore.

September 2025
Coimbatore opens
Auhiro Motors Coimbatore launches at Siddhapudur. First test rides, first deliveries, first customers. M7 and URBN lead the initial demand — delivery partners and students.

"Namma Pollachi kum Vanthachunga"
Pollachi showroom opens on Raja Mill Road, Kaspa. The HUM cargo e-cycle finds its audience immediately — farmers and small traders who needed a reliable, affordable load carrier.
